Group Fitness Training

Group fitness is a fantastic way for groups to create exercise opportunities for their teams.

It’s a low-cost option that doesn’t require much equipment or space, and it can net positive health outcomes for all teams.

If you’re sold on the idea of adding group exercise classes to your team but aren’t sure where to start, let's talk.

Most groups have some kind of space available to host a group fitness class. You don’t have to have dedicated group exercise space with a suspended hard wood floor to get started. An open area or room can work.

Take a look at the space you have to run classes and make some choices based on what you have available. For example, a smaller space might better accommodate a mind/body class like barre or strength and resistance training. A larger room might make it possible to have a cardio-focused or high movement class like cardio kickboxing or bootcamp.

Wages vary by class length, class size, and by geography.

30-minute group exercise: starts at $40

45-minute group exercise: starts at $50

60-minute group exercise: starts at $60

But what do your teams want? Finding out the most popular choices among your group can be as simple as offering a quick survey. Consider asking about the following:

  • Preferred time(s) of day

  • Preferred day(s) of the week

  • Preferred format(s)

Popularity for specific formats, and times of day will give you a clear indication what will work for your site. Once you’ve determined a pattern, we can begin to grow your program.
